Dynamic Risk Assessment / Hazard Perception
Operational Procedures
Control and Movement
Communication
Theory Test

Practical:

Introduction to Vehicle Driver
Assessment of surroundings / Hazard Perception
Assessment of Route and Termination
Communication and Understanding with Driver
Agreed Hand Signals
Crush Zones and positioning
Practice safely reversing vehicle
Practical Test

After course completion:

Upon successful completion of the training course, delegates will receive a  Certificate of Basic Training for operating as a Banksman.
Successful delegates will be registered onto the AITT (ACORNS)                                                National Operators Registration Scheme Database.
ACORNS Operator Photocards are also available to purchase for a small additional fee.
Banksman certification should be refreshed by completing a Refresher course between 3 to 5 years after the Date of Test of the initial Basic Training course.
